Marple EMS lead by Chief Bill Downey with Broomall Fire Company lead by Chief Tom Dobbins cleared from an accident with injuries reported on the 800 block of Paxton Hollow Rd. One patient was taken to a area hospital for evaluation
At 21:30hrs tonight, Chief, MICU and Ambulance 153 along with Broomall Fire Company was dispatched to West Chester Pike and Malin Road for an accident with entrapment. Units on scene found a two car accident with three injuries. EMS treated and transported all three to local hospitals. Marple Township Police Department is investigating.
At approx 1218 today, MICU 153 was dispatched for a Accident with Entrapment. MICU 153 along with Medic 153, Marple Police & Broomall Fire Department all arrived on scene and found a down tree & live wires from today’s storms. PECO was contacted and the subject was removed from the vehicle. The subject was transported to a area hospital with non life threatening injuries. The scene was turned over to PECO & Marple Police.
BFC & MTAC units just recently cleared this two vehicle accident at West Chester Pike & I-476. 3 people were injured and transported by Marple Township EMS West to an area hospital. The roadway has since been reopened and Marple Township Police Department are investigating the cause. Several Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) crews also assisted with traffic control.
At 11:18am today, MTAC was dispatched to I-476 northbound at MM 9 for an accident with entrapment. MICU and Chief 153 arrived first to find a 1 vehicle accident with a subject partially ejected. The subject was extricated by rescue companies and transported to Lankenau Medical Center fir treatment. On scene was Broomall Fire Company, Radnor Fire Company and PA State Police.
